Excellent shot JD. very interesting about this plants diversity to hot and cold too... Amazing anything can live in those temps and so tall too. I love that you took this as a macro shot .. it's very pleasant !

Thank you, Maryanne, for your evaluation of my submission. I took a peek at your portfolio and was impressed with your general standard and use of colors particularly. I espesially like your 'bark' photo, as you might see, I also have several pics of didderent textures and COLORS of 'barking' trees...thanks again.
