It's Christmas Eve Don and the party is over for now. My daughter and her husband are coming tomorrow, but for now I thought I'd stop by my friends here at UF and wish you all a very nice and peaceful Christmas.
Thank you for sharing this one. I think the B&W works very well with the silky effect. You took benefit of the backlight, especially in the foreground where it bounces on the rocks. And it's cool to see your shadow. Sort of a signature in the bottom right corner...
The very best for you and yours.

A superb B&W, Don. A bit of Ansell Adams hidden inside? Well done. Cheers, Ann.

With that 10mm lens it is hard to keep out of the picture. It has an incredible field of view. You can get the tripod legs in the picture if you are not carefull.
Don.

Hi Riny, yes the water is very fast here and t his old fellow doesn't need to get in it as he would be downstream a ways. Thanks Riny. Don.

Kes, I can't hardly take a picture without a tripod. In bright sun and a VR lens I can do a few. Thanks.

Hi Don, nice movement with the slow shutter, this has a nice flow to it. Is this hand-held or did you use a tripod?
Kes
