Yes the waves look wierd because the tide is going out and the waves are coming in! I think the waves look just right and are not too sharp .. look again ? Just right now... huh?
Thanks for commenting John. I am sort of in and out doing chores today.. also got to make a run into work for an hour or so.. but I always return! I'm adding you to my friends list now Ok? Michele~

Cool shot Michele! The image and title fit perfectly!! I imagine it makes for some nice photo effects in this area! Good lighting for this capture. I like the little edge of earth to give this a sence of being? I guess that makes sense....lol Good shot, I like it!
Congrats!
Paul.....
Ps......Met to comment more earlier but right in the middle of commenting I lost power....Rats! I wish my modem new when that was going to happen and could shut down......I got everything else going into a really good serge protector. just have not figured out for sure how to run the modem through it as well. There is a spot for it just not sure of the right hook up! lol "send the boy back to school so he can hook up a power serge protector"! Gheez

Ahhhhh My friend . . . you're now dipping into the philosophical about the feel or appearance of balance and level versus the technical "This IS balanced or level"
This posted image does feel (IMO) ever so slightly tilted . . . but a change of 1 degree makes it feel tilted the other way! As it happens in this case . . . a 1/2 degree tilt makes it seem and become balanced (see attached). Ideally . . . in a well balanced work of artistic merit . . . it must both be and feel balanced . . . UNLESS you want it to feel unbalanced or off (which we DO see from time to time). In a tricky quirk of fate . . . the rule of thirds . . . what we refer to as a balanced composition . . . is OFF-BALANCE . . . or not symetrical . . . because that adds tension and makes a shot more dynamic. But - should you have a shot which feels wrong when it's measured right . . . or feels right when it's measured wrong . . . consider what you're trying to present. A technical work . . . or an artistic one that speaks the message you want to communicate. Architecture might go for the tech . . . speaking for myself . . . I deal with the artistic first . . . because I'm an artist. Your name goes on it . . . you must choose for yourself. Avoid using artistic license as an excuse for poor quality work at all costs . . . it happens all the time!
That's probably wildly confusing . . . :)

Hey Thanks for the great critique Doyle ! I appreciate it very much. I kept feeling it was tilted just a bit on the left but every time I adjusted it .. it looked un-balenced . I'm glad you told me and how do you feel about that ? Do you balence it even tho it feels unbalenced? I like the sand bar too... I totally agree with making that bigger... Thanks for mentioning it .
Thank You Doyle !

Nice work Michele . . . great subject too. The horizontal banding makes for a nice composition and the detail on the water surface lower front center and left side seems to make some great accents. I did measure a (very) picky little tilt . . . about 1/2 degree . . . and there is a distracting sand bar visible in the lower right side . . . though it is minor.
Quite frankly (and this is a personal thing) - I'd like to see more of that sand/water line in the shot. I think it'd make a great diagonal accent. I know what you were shooting is more distant but . . . the wet sand and water eddys seem intriguing here. That, of course, would be a whole different shot and not really a critique of this one . . . just a thought.
Overall it's a good shot (IMO).

Hi Viola, I wanted to look at your picture of where your family house is but I my pc couldn't find it . I copied and pasted the address into my browser but 'nothing' ..'could not find ' spell differently , etc. responces were all I got.
I understand now and if you ever have time to check this out or give me another address or just send it to me ? I would love to see it . Great name for your river ...'Odd' It will take one who lives on the sea to notice this ...
I thank You for your reponse and love your work ! I wish you all the best and totally understand if you don't have the time as well. Michele~

Michele... I understand you wanted what to show :) I noticed this, because there, my family house is where the river joins with the sea , have a look: http://www.wybrzeze.com.pl/dziwnow/dziwnow_04.jpg River is name of Odd, that is why that he flows to the sea once, once from the sea. This depends on sea currents obviously. I thank You for the nice answer and wish all is the best:) Viola

Thank You for your comment Viola ! What a good Eye you've got my friend .... you are right the waves do not flow right ..... No one else has noticed this I tried to explain it in my 'about' section of details. This image is of the tide going out to sea & meeting the waves coming in . I should have named it Merger because the 2 waters are merging together ! I appreciate your comments , Thank You, Best Wishes, Michele~

Michele... I love the sea... I spent over the bank of the sea the whole childhood...:) I already saw the various paintings of the sea: alive and in the art. Your painting is natural, beautiful and I noticed that waves flowed oddly. They do not flow to the bank in the side only somewhere :) Excellent work :) Warm hugs:) Viola
