Well . . . Yep! He's black . . . he's a dog . . . and he's on the beach! Guess I figured out the title! :)
You know you really did get some good exposure for this one . . . the dark has detail and the white's not burned out. Terrific exposure range and a great looking dog too. I love the frozen detail in the water splash.

I would have given this image an award, amazing photographic quality, all the way from the very well balanced exposure to the sharp details and superb colors.

Thanks, Michele-- yep, his owner said that he's half lab-- another great rescue dog from a local shelter. A very friendly guy who was having a great time running through the water.
