Hi Eb,
this is a fantastic B/W. It is a good answer to the B.C. conundrum of bland greenish colors on gray rock. Here you get great tonal values without the distraction of the potentially dull colorations. Super job on that! Excellent clarity and composition.

Hi Eb, the b&w really give it a moody, mystic feeling. Great work! Kes

Thanks for your kind comment. Joggie! This composition worked a lot better because it is a tighter lens crop and avoids the cumbersome patch of sky.

Superb my friend - this is more powerful in B&W than in colour (for me at least). Lovely range of tones and great contrast. I like the way all the lines are either leading or framing the waterfall. A winner! Joggie

Thanks, Shirley. This composition is similar to an earlier one I uploaded. The fact that this one does not have an awkward patch of sky made it more suitable to a B&W. Eb

Thanks! I am pleased that you enjoyed the B&W. The lens focal length was 26mm, and a lens crop factor of 1.5. The print was cropped to a 8x10 aspect. Eb
