Me gusta mucho la idea o concepción que tienes acerca de que el espectador tenga que hacer referencia a su universo para entender lo que esta viendo. A mi en particular me gusta mucho la fotografia abstracta creo que es una herramienta para expresar lo que pasa por la cabeza de uno.
Bueno y relativo a "behind the sea of fire 1a", me encanta la suavidad del color y el efecto borroso que hay en ella, me genera una tranquilidad y armonia. Excelente trabajo!

Lowell,
This has real composition. Even when there is no real intellectual understanding the composition can't be denied. I think that perhaps, it could be cropped from the top - nope, never mind tried it - we need the dark areas to keep the eyes moving.
I was trying to move the point of insertion up (and maybe to the left a bit). I am calling it point of insert because that is what it looks like to me - I guess it is an emotional response to something I don't understand.

i have this one in different print formats and this 3 images go together, also they are part of a short clip of 2 minutes . part of the press note for that exhibition
"En trayecto? (on route), as the show has been titled, consists of a delicate and subtle journey through photography by diverse unrecognizable surfaces at first sight, where the spectator have to resort constantly to his/her universe of real or imaginary references to be able to decipher them. The dynamic use of the color, that per moments seems to wrap like a jellyfish the lens of the camera and an abstraction of translucent qualities of indefinite contours, transports us to a world of nameless shapes, urges to us to perceive an enigmatic and disturbing visual language. "
