About A crop from a Velvia transparency converted to B&W in PS. I felt that this section of the image gave some symmetry between mountains and sky that leads one's eye down through the frosted water to the foreground rock, like an explanation mark.

Great eye Barry! Another element that caught my eye is the apparent movement in the clouds and water while the mountain an rock seems very solid - indeed an exlamation mark.

Barry,

Wonderfully done indeed. I love the sharpness of the MF as well. It makes me want to get my MF Bronnie out of the closet, but my 20D is so easy to share images with this site.

Very beautiful scene and tones, I'm curious to see the full 6x7 frame in color, bet it's beautiful too!
