The bridge over the stream at the middle

Over there, free!

The house of the wood artist

In succession

Big good buy of Christmas time

Religions and directions

So many of them in so little space!

Evening and the storm is coming

The tower and the reflection

An arrangement

Jan, I hope that you had all a nice family convergence being quietly together, but also that the wine was good.

All the best to everybody,

Nick

Thanks for the holiday greeting. My wife and I have family converging on our house from various places and my son and daughter-in-law will bring the wine. So it will be a surprise to me as to what we drink in the way of wine. otherwise we will be serving soft drinks, water and coffee; the families are not too big on alcohol so it will be a "quiet" day here.

Oh yes, the Swiss do that very very well! Protection of the environment is a number 1 here around, but I should also mention that electicity is very easily produced through the huge number of waterfalls available. Almost all publich transport moves with electricity in the city.

But be sure, Jan! The whole world *will* understand that we all have to go a bit more green. Not for some strange ideas but in first place for our own selves.

Thank you for the nice comment and all the best on Thanksgiving Day! BTW, what are you drinking today?

Like the effect of the overhead tram wires. In the US most electric transportation was phased out years ago for fossil fuel buses and trains. The Swiss have a better understanding of how to be "Green".
--Best to you, Jan
