About Another rather "unusual" Wedding. Shot after the Wedding Ceremony, but on the same day... part of the overall shoot...
As always a challenge with this type of light and the small space I had to work in. I was crushed up against a wall to achieve this shot (which was very popular with the couple, and they had an enormous print made of it to frame for their wall....) Here it is slightly more cropped in than the original, but I have played in PS a tad with it and with the darkening of the edges, a part of the groom's head seems a little bit "lost". I assure you he does have a top of his head... lol...
Natural lighting. I don't like to use a flash if I can avoid it.

Great to see a wedding picture unlike anything I have seen before! The expressions you have captured so wonderfully. And the colour, texture and lighting really creates a distinct atmosphere.

You're very sweet Dear Shirley and thank you so much for your warm comments :)

I enjoy shooting "different" weddings. The bride here was actually wearing a purple lace medieval type of gown, and the location (where I have shot 3 weddings) has some marvelous little nooks and crannies (however you spell that... lol..)

Warmest Wishes my friend!
Aniko :)

How delightful, dear Aniko! I can see why they would want an enormous print.:) Your work just continues to give me new joys each day.:)

Indeed Ian! :)

Thank you for your comment.
I have actually shot a few weddings where men were Scottish and wore kilts. Very cool stuff!

Best Wishes,
Aniko :)

Aniko...
Very much I like the style of this scene and the effect at your image. The brown key is adding for picture the experienced taste.
Cordialities:)

Cloistered rooms would be appropriate for a Scot.
