Thank you for your critique.
Actually, looking at this with your imagagination and perspective, if you have ever flown out of LAX airport in Los Angeles in Southern California this almost appears as a night time shot of Westwood to the near left [UCLA's home], Hollywood to the near right, Beverly Hills at the far middle, Bel Air to the far right, and Santa Monica in the far left.
The problem here would be, that West Hollywood in the center would be up in flames!
Usually, however, planes traveling North like this are routed over the Pacific Ocean and don't come back over land until they reach about the "Grapevine" [Tehachapi Mountains].
Thanks for the inspired vision, however.

Duncan... On first glance, it looks like a night time news shot of a city on fire surrounded by suburbs... I have a vivid imagination, sorry...:)
Nature is amazing and you have certainly captured that fire within...

Thank you for your critique.
Actually, this area was chained off for observation and the danger was minimal.

Man I hope you used a long lens for this one - I wouldn't want to be too close. Very dramatic - nice work.
