Disappointed that I'll be gone, or disappointed that we aren't fighting?

That would all be wonderful if I had a tripod with me ...this was hand held...F8 or f16 at 30sec seems a bit improbable...Thanks

Very nice night shot, but needs a tilt correction, Larry!

A very good attempt at a night shot Larry, a few things bother me with this shot, 1st it is too dark, the building blend into the darkness of the BG sky, a longer exposure will fix that problem. 2nd the building especially on the RH side look soft or out of focus, a smaller f-stop will assist in obtaining a sharp image across the shot. for night shot i normally do not shot below f8. most of the night work i've done is at f16 for atleast 30sec or more. with settings like these you'll get a nice separation of the skyline to the BG sky, the image is normally very sharp and a side effect of a small f-stop you'll get some nice starburst effect off your main lights.
