About so great natural colors for this geyser, turn from deep orange to deep green, the water was so clear, simply incredible.

spectacular, Jacques. I love the starkness of the water, with the blues, greens and golds... the white ringing it, and the lushness of the greens in the background. wonderful.

the stupid guy is the one who think he knows everything my friend. As Hanna said in another comment, you can't swim in those lake. This one is not a geyser, but high temperature or toxicity level could let you some health problem... and you can't swim there, be sure everybody are watching you :)
thanks for your visit my friend.

Good capture of these colours, and the unusual pattern of the lake, Jacques! You're giving us a good tour of an unusual part of the country.
Dave.

Emerald Pool...
http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=585397

yeah, this pool is one of the more beautiful ones in the park. I like the composition, nicely shows off the pool. It's just hard to get a sense of the depth and clairity with the shine from the bright sunlight.

(It does not erupt, so it's not a geyser)

awesome shot!
you captured so well all those mineral colours around the well.

for Martin,
I think the water in most of the geysers would be much too hot for swimming and thermal burns would make it a very painful experience. besides swimming in these thermal features is illegal in Yellowstone.
I'm attaching a link that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about swimming there:)

jac,

Pretty wild shot my friend. I do love the colors, tones, textures and DOF...

Like is this one of those things that blow water up in the air? Also, can you jump in it and swim down the hole?

I know I sound stupid, but I have never seen one of these things...

Marty
