Andre, a good idea again!
So I'll be capturing "The prisoner with two different hands" :-) But why not? There are also so many photos of David Bowie and he has two different eyes! ;-)
Holding the T90 with one hand can get a bit hard, so I need only one person more to give me a hand when I'll be shooting! :-)
What we do for a good photo.. :-)

Hey Nick,
If the position you described gets a little too crowded, you could use your left hand and someone elses right hand, while you use your right hand to take the shot :)

It could be really interesting to try out your idea. I think that the Tokina RMC 28-70mm at 28mm would be wide enough, but i could also try even more wider angle.
The person with his hands on the fence could also stand right behind me, one arm to the left the other to the right of me, and I would be standing between him/her and the fence.
You gave me an intriguing idea, Andre! Thank you very much for this!
Now of course I have to find some person with nicely grasping hands. Any voluntairy help for a photographer out there? ;-)

I was lucky that they put it exactly there. I think that a railing with metal bars only would not create such a symbolism.

Hi Nick,
It is fun to experiment with this kind of shot. You really get a voyaristic feel to this because of the fence. It adds to the effect of us the viewer looking through the cameraman's eyes.
Wouldn't it be interesting if you could take the shot again with two hands grasping the wire fence just inside the frame? That might not work because you may not be close enough to the fence to do that in this case. Maybe with a wide-angle lens it could work?

This one is my daily preference. The way to the far, the rails, are skillfully highlighted. Anyway I like even more your looking near. The prison symbolized by the grid is a very stark ad impressive vision.

Yes, here it is more the visual effect than the message. It is interesting to see how the same composition changes by changing focus.

Interesting flip to the previous picture where you now change the focus point. I think they are both excellent but less message and more visual on this one.
