About The flower wasn't that colorful
I just tried "auto levels" in Photoshop and liked the result.

Monika it seems to me that also the original/natural has splendid colours that moreover are in a beautiful harmony against the stark colour contrasts of the auto levelled. And the blur is much more evident in the levelled. So, I prefer the natural, as you well know! That means that you made a beautiful photo that has absolutely no need of external help.
Good night Monika.

Giuseppe

Monika,

Now I understand... I just spent some time in your portfolio and now the shallow DOF seems appropriate. Great work! At least you are an "oholic" of some kind. I'm just a "shoot-anything-with-no-real-personal-style-oholic." Anyway, nice photos.

God bless,
Ray

The auto levels choice was a good one in my opinion, I love the result, But then, I find strong colour very exciting. CC

Thanks Pawel :)

Sometimes I am afraid that already have taken all possible floral photos, that there are no new ideas to make something unusual.... and then the nature + light + camera + my eyes surprise me.
I hope to share more and more lovely photos in the future.
Cheers,
Monika

Geee... The colours are overwhelming. I can't get enough of this one.

Well, the colors are beautiful! Nice depth of field but the main focus isn't really focused on the right part of the flower I think. But that is a good angle to take the photo, meaning nice composition, nice perspective, nice depth of field, colors, image. The colors are so attractive I can't stop looking at this. Great job!

Both are wonderful, I see now the title... Like a Phoenix bird, ashes raising from the Auto Levels fire.

Your pictures are like Zen poetry.

Always the best!

thank you Ray :)

the problem with DOF is that I am a shallow-DOF-oholic ;)

Fantastic color (even if not authentic). Just wish the DOF was more.

God bless,
Ray

Thank you Francisco :)

Such strong colors are rather unusual in my gallery but... one must be creative :)

Here the result came from two important clicks: the first one when decide to take a photo,
the secondl click on "auto levels".
I had no idea that it would turn to rainbow pallete. But I like it.
Here is the original photo.

Wow!

I love the colours!

It's unreal and has dreamlike qualities. Your picture really stands out.

Excellent! Lovely!
