No one seems to have mentioned the role of color here, though to me this is a perfect illustration of how to use it for impact. It would've been banal to put all the color in the eye and desaturate the rest, an approach I see way too often online. Keeping echoes of the eye color in the fur is much better and makes for a rich picture.

I am entranced by your work. I don't know where exactly to start look, so I decided maybe here with the "Watcher." Mary's right. Razor sharpness can't convey certain emotions. Here you succeed in capturing a sense of primal menace and I think a sharper image might actually have been less effective.
