Thank you, Joćo! I“m glad you like it. I“m sure you also have very special homes that are built accordingly to your nation“s culture and history.
Best wishes,
Annemette

I really like the living roof divided oddly by the white fence-like partition. The red also have a distinct place in this photograph.

very interesting shot. From the thumbnail I thought it a ps shot with an arm hold to the two houses. LOL.

Haha a mother-in-law house! One part/wing of MY farmhouse was actually made for the oldest person in the family back in time. Those days are over now unfortunately. I would love to live several generations under the same roof if having seperate areas that were private.
No mowing - it“s moss growing on the roof. If you place a copperthread in the roof when making it there will never be moss on the roof.
Yes, it“s possible to walk on the roof. It“s very thick, but after 30-50 years depending on which side is opposed to the sun, the roof is very thin and fragile.
In this shot the top is filled with heather. As I told you earlier on, it“s much stronger than hay, but also more expensive. Some people also use the material that you can dig out of dry swampareas.
This roof is very strong. During hurricanes they seldom gets ruined whereas normal roofs often do.
It“s hard to lit fire to except in the top because the pipes have been attached very close leaving almost no air.
No goats on this roof. That is only possible on other roofs thoough.
Take care,
Annemette

Yeah . . . but they save money on the one wall! Oh! Maybe a Mother-in-Law house?? LoL! I like the red, white and blue colors and the roof is (as I know you're likely aware) a very unusual vision for us! Can they walk on that roof?? Do they have to mow it?? I'm filled with curiosity . . . but I love the shot! ;)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
