I too would prefer the shoe cropped out, but you have your artistic liscence here. I still think this is an intriguing shot. I like Adrienne's version too, gives you something to think about when pushing the limits of a photo. Keep up the good work.

Yes I thought about it to frame out the shoe.
But for me the shoe is important, it's funnier.
I prefer to take nothing away from pictures.
Maybe if I named it "the shoe" : )

I agree with Tarek.. I think the image would be more dramatic and powerful if the shoe were out of the frame. I took the liberty of photoshopping the shoe out of the frame and burning the edges for a moodier feel. I really really like this picture and love that the shadow is in the pool. I think most people would have just taken the picture without a person's shadow, so congratulations for thinking outside the box. Wonderful!
