About A small series of 4 photos in Lucerne railway station waiting for the train in the middle of the night under snow.

Small tribute to Jon and the gang for "Destination anywhere". I thought they wrote that song for me ;-)

Any preference for one of the photos?

Hi Andre, and thank you very much for the great comment.

Yes, this is quite different from the other one. B&W but not with that distinct blur of him. I have some other B&Ws that are also Stieglitz-like but I have to scan them first. But soon some more photos come, which I tried to shoot with that blur. They are color photos, so I wonder how you find them.

Bye, thanks again, and keep it up,

Nick

Hi Nick,
This one may be the most attractive composition of the four of them. But it doesn't have the same sort of "Stieglitz" blur as the previous shot. Nice composition though.

Thanks a lot Nessa! I had also luck since the falling snow acted like a light diffusor at the background and made everything quite soft there but without losing detail.

Best wishes,

Nick

Thank you very much, James.

Indeed that scene scream for B&W. But it also screamed for wide angle, narrow apperture, loooong exposition time. Hadn't I have the tripod with me, it would be very difficult to shoot that.

Those wide angles in B&W seem to generate depth and also... distance, emptiness. I like them!

Cheers,

Nick
