About Just for the fun, do you know how the marks were made on this mountain. According to the legend, there was a bear running after kids in the forest. When the bear was too close, kids starts praying to be saved, and the hill just start to grow, and grow, and grow. The bear just wanted to climb the hill to eat the kids (he let all that marks in the rocks), but he was falling and died. After that, kids reach up the sky and become stars.

Jacqies,
I just looked it up on the web. This is the same rock formation that they used in the movie!!
Do a search for Devil's Tower Close Encounters.

Great shot Jacques!

Nice of you to put the old legend / myth in the about.
Is this the same place that Speilberg used in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"?

Good "about", Jacques and a great shot of the rock against the brilliant blue sky! Very nice detail and textures, too.

Wonderful capture and story indeed, but if that were the truth it would surely be called "Gods" Tower not the devil's... ;)

Well done my friend,

Marty
