I just realized that you were replying to the missing post. I guess you're getting these in your email but it could be sending your replies into oblivion. Ah, technology! Don't you love it? {{HUGS}} ~R

Hahaha...It is weird, I don't think it's anything to worry about though, I did get it and it's a riot, I love that link, way too funny, and I think that might be the problem, I'm not sure though, it used to be that we couldn't include links in our comments. A lot of places are like that, and the system may see that as a real link, and automatically delete it, it's funny that I got it though. Anyway that's just my guess. You are so funny, that had me in stitches!! I can't talk right now, but wanted to let you know I did get it. That must be why when I tried to comment back that I got that error message. Have a great day Ol' Hawkeye, and I don't think anyone here thinks you're serious about the cattle prod silly...:) Maybe I'll see you later...big hugs funny guy...:)

OMG! I couldn't even think of going anywhere with the current situation you have with your fiancé's health. There's always next year, honey. Love to meet you and giggle over how silly we can be here. I just realized someone might actually think I was serious about that cattle prod comment. Just kidding folks... it's really just a big sharp stick. :)Okay, now I feel better that I set THAT straight. LOL! -------- That's the first part of the message.

Is there some kind of limit to how much you can write in a post? Maybe I can't post it because it too big. I'll try and make it two separate posts. ~R

LOL! There is definitely some weirdness here. I posted a reply to you and it never registered. I did it twice and it didn't show up. Just then, some lightning storm started passing through here and I had to shutdown my computer. I love these storms but it drives me crazy that I can't get online when they come through here. I just don't want to take the chance. Anyway, the cattle prod comment may have triggered a cascade failure in the UseFilm positronic brain. Who knew? :) {{HUGS}} ~R

Test, I can't comment back to your comment...and I see it's not here either, I'm getting a weird error message...:) You didn't use that cattle prod did you? I don't think anyone is taking that serious, I know I'm not....silly!! :)

Well I'm really disappointed now that I know you're going but then again I couldn't go anyway now...maybe next year. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you find out, though I don't really think you can get any better!!
Collapsible cattle prod...LOL..I want one. I hate pushy people...behave yourself and have a great time. Big hugs!!

I love to share what I learn at these events (sometimes more than people want to hear about it too).
You know you're sharing too much when you get that glassy-eyed, dear-in-the-headlights look, right?
Okay, I'll leave the 2x4 at home but I still need to carry a stick with me. It's a collaspible cattle prod that I can keep in my back pocket. It works really well at getting people to move out of your way or to stop pushing you.
I'll bring my camera to my brothers and when we get back we'll play in his studio for a couple of days.
Too bad you didn't sign-up for it. It is so much fun and probably the best Photoshop learning experience on the planet (do you think they'll pay me for this free advertisement?). :) {{{HUGS}}} ~R

Oh wow, I almost signed up for that, too bad, it would have been great to meet you. You mean you can get better? Promise to share all of your tips with me? And behave yourself!! Leave your stick at home...keep your camera around your neck, and come back with lots of Rocky Tips for me...LOL...hugs :)

Yeah, Canon DOES make one of those. If you can afford it, it's magical. Love my Nikon lens. It really infused my work with a new sense of purpose and creativity. Yeah, it was pretty clam that evening... the calm before the storm maybe. {{{HUGS}}} ~R

LOL! Do I sound "medical"? LOL! (No, just a mental case). Elephants, eh? Those things will really mess-up a camera. :)
You are so sweet for looking through my stuff. I wish I had more time this week to shoot. I'm heading to Vegas for PhotoshopWorld on Thursday (it's a nice drive from here). Don't think I'll lug my camera around there. It's mostly taking notes and listening. My brother lives in Bullhead City and we're going together. Hmmm... now, what kind of trouble can we get into, eh?! LOL! {{{HUGS}}} ~R

I think Canon makes a 12-24mm, and I'm thinking about getting it...yes it does have a great effect. I would definitely call this serene and tranquil...doesn't look like there was a bit of wind...hugs...:)

LOL...that paranoia will get you everytime. I know, I speak from experience...I do the same thing with my camera when I get worried. When I was at the Mayaguez Zoo, it poured elephants..BIG ELEPHANTS, and I got soaked to the bone, but MY CAMERA was dry...LOL. We gotta take care of those things. Are you a medical person? Don't tell me you're a shrink either or I'm outta here...just kidding...big hugs sweetie...:)
PS working my way over to your other images...:)

Yeah, I basically rested the camera on the edge of the pool and laid prone on the deck to get the shot. The things we do for a shot, huh? It worried me about the camera falling in the pool, so, I kept the strap around my neck. What a horrible vision that is! {{{HUGS}}} ~R

Thanks honey. I was going for "tranquil & serene" with this. See what I mean about that wide angle making things look bigger? It's not that big of a pool either. {{{HUGS}}} ~R

Wow if you hadn't said this was a swimming pool, I'd never have known!! Gorgeous capture and placement of the moon, the blues are absolutely beautiful...is this another HDR image, or polarizer? I doubt a polarizer would do this at that hour. Rocky this is very peaceful and very beautiful image. I love the colors, the moody light, and the creativity, perfect timing and very nice work...big hugs!! :)
