Absolutely. Years ago I did a series of moon shots while there was a good wind sending the clouds whizzing past. Very cool motion stuff. I'll have to dig those up and post one.

Thank you again, Tim. I thought this was different as well. It was very serendipitous as I went outside to look at the full moon and it was obscured by these interesting clouds. Night shots have always been my challenge and this is one of the few I am proud of. Thanks for the acknowledgement, Tim. I am again honored. ~ Warmest regards, Rocky

Yeah, I did a whole series of shots one night (film) where the wind was really blowing and the clouds were just whipping past the full moon. Some turned out really well. I'll try to dig them up. Probably can find one that's worth posting.

LOL! Only a truly observant photographer would say something like that. LOL! Actually, the "discernable" motion shift is there but thankfully not enough to spoil the image. I did use a tripod as well as a cable release. I was thinking my luck had more to do with the clouds in front of the Moon. Other shots I got this night were blown-out because of it. You are sharp, James! I like that. ~ Warmest regards, Rocky

Nice. It exists as an indefinable presence. Well shot. Four seconds and no discernable cloud blur; a little good fortune never hurts. Nicely done.

I think the lens really helped to make this shot. Such a wide angle adds to the drama of the sky, don't you think? Even still, it's barely a substitue for what was really there. Thank you sooo much honey for the kindness. {{{HUGS}}} to you. ~ Warmest regards, Rocky

Thanks, James. If it wasn't for the landscape horizon, it almost looks to me to be like looking down on the Earth. The moon was quite bright this night and it was a good thing that it was behind some clouds. Thanks again for looking at my work. ~ Warm regards, Rocky
