I'll bet Seminole is close to Largo isn't it? Is Robbie Chin spreading untrue rumors again? If not, check out his stuff too. Good work there. Thanks, Janet, for stopping by. Your bird photos are really good! I have been trying to find a palm tree/beach scene for an IR pano, like the one in your portfolio, but no luck yet. Visit again, Janet. Anson

Sorry for the delay in replying Anson, yep Channel Mixer does do awesome b&w tones but when you should try HUE/SAT next time you do Sepia toned image, for a unexpected surprise try this. Make a copy of the image with different color scheme,go to APPLY IMAGE and blend them. Try all the blending modes and opacity. You never know what you might get. Good luck!!! Take care Anson. Robbie

Oh, Anson, 7 you say? Then each of the parts got the maximum of detail, since it was like a magnification of a *part* of the scene, which then was stiched together. A real good technique!
Thanks for telling and best wishes,
Nick

This image started out as an 88Mb one, being 7 images stitched together, taken with the camera held vertically. The detail is quite good, but don't really know why. This is a small creek about 25 kilometers from my home which connects two large lakes. I just escaped the downpour from the storm. Thanks for commenting, Nick. Anson

Unreal! Is that from our little known world?
The amount of detail is simply outstanding, but most of all I am caught by the mysterious light, of which I don't know if I am delighted or scared! (Or perhaps both?)
And then, just to put the point on the i, that mysterious, clear and yet unreal reflection on the water!
Hat off!

Caught this storm before it reached the Cross Creek, where I was shooting, Robbie. I have discovered that working with Channel Mixer in PS in the monochrome mode gives excellent tonal control of the BW image, and really lets you work on cloud detail, much more so than when the image remains sepia toned. Therefore, when clouds dominate the image, I will be working in BW, Robbie, but have not given up sepia. This is one of my favorite images in IR, and will probably wind up in my print gallery. Thanks again for the Panorama Factory. Anson
