Wonderful sharpness on the right man's face, in contrast with the left man. I love his expression. Nice tones as well.

Wow, Fabrice, thank you for your comments and questions :)
1. I captured the photo in colors. A D70 doesn't have such feature. Eventhough it has, I prefer converting it in PS :)
2. I use Channel Mixer to convert the photo into BW, then I'd drag the sliders until it fits my taste. Every single photo should be treated differently (depending on the original color), but usually I'd make sure that the overall percentage is 100%
3. Then I will use dodging burning feature to enhance the contrast.

I hope you will understand my explanation. Sorry for my not-so-good english :)

Warmest regards,
Hanggan

I like the tones here, Hanggan! They give a sense of the gritty side of life in this hard working community.
Dave.

Wow this one sis really superb my friend.. The expression of the man is well captured. I love the tones you used in your picture. I have already asking you how dod you obtain such tones, but I didn't succeed to have the quality of yours. Did you capture your photo in B&W mode or colors one? And then what you do in PS (I suppose)? If you use colored one, when you go in monochromatic mode, what is the color that you use the most, red, green or blue? How is the balance between them? A lot of question.. sorry. :)
Congrats for this very nice shot my friend
