If it's a speck then it moves as I scroll up and down. It appears in the upper left portion of the image near the outer part of the halo image. Check it out.

How could I not notice the halo around the moon. The lighting surrounding the moon is great especially with the darkness of the edges. Also, do I spot a small star there too? I notice lots of things. I'm very perceptive!

Good evening Lisa. I actually use that lens with 2 2x teleconverters, my neighbors thought I was in their backyard with a shoulder launched missile.lol

Great image. Was this just shot with the 70-200 and the 2x converter? No telescope used? I'm not sure how people get these great moon images, but I would love to try it. Next full moon I will make my attempt.
It is a special moon with a most unusual light surrounding it.
