Dear Nilanjan,
I have not purchased yet any digicams. This was borrowed from one of my friens of Bangalore. I had gone through a bit experimentation. Do u know I have already tested Sony DSC P200,Canon A610, Nikon 5900, Canon 350D SLR, one Fuji Model etc.There are some merits and demerits. But the prosumer level compacts and little advanced SLRS life Canon 20D/30D,NIkon D200 give stunning results.
I am not biased of any equipment. I tested different SLR's from Olympus,Canon,Nikon,Viviter,Zenit etc and those give me different feelings during photographing.
Digicams give me much pleasure in shooting. I snapped almost 2000-3000 shots at my Hampi Tour with 28-80 i.e 45-120 in Digital and quite satisfied.
I took almost almost 300 snaps in our tour to Balipass on June 2004 with slide film and I was quite satisfied with that also.
Ultimately output is the last word. I dont bother which can give me that. There is no way to accept DIGITAL WORLD. We have to accept it with all its pros and cons.
Its long enough to express myslef.
Al last I will also enter in it very shortly and probably with Sony DSC R1.
