This is pretty cute, but I think would be stronger if only the black dog was in the shot. Of course this would be a completely different photograph :-] ... but the light coloured dog has more or less the same colour temperature (and palette) as the leaves in the back ground, so some of the contrast between subject and background is lost - a potentially fatal problem given how "busy" the background is. The black dog, however, contrasts strongly with the background, making both elements stand out better.

Ha! Not normally a fan of pet photos, but I love the expressions on their faces. Lovely background colours as well. The dogs are perhaps a little bit too far to the bottom of the frame. Otherwise, I like this a lot!

This is a great shot; I could see it on a calendar for one of the Fall months. Beautiful animals. Wish my dog would "pose" like this! Did you hang a hot dog on the end of the camera to get their attention?
