Looks like this is a picture of four differently sized flashlights.
Ah, what the English call torches! I understand. Hahaha.
So your sentence might read better:
I have placed a [flashlight or torch] behind the bulb.

Interesting image. Did you have wires connected to the other side of the bulb or is this some other trick?
I really like the colors that have come from the glass dolphin.
