What I liked most about this shoot was that I now have a decent camera and a large memory stick and I can go to town. I don't have to worry about running out of memory or battery power or having subpar quality photos. I think I've let loose even more since I got my new cam and it's showing through in my pictures.
p.s. I like the leaf a lot too.

Carlen I think that you have a great eye for photography. It is obvious in a lot of your compositions. Your love of actually taking the shot is what shows. Don't doubt, go with what you like and keep improving. I think this shot has some strong points like your depth of field and the blurred foreground. I know the bike is the focal point but actually the yellow leaf draws my attention. I played around with your photo and tried to crop it to make the leaf more focal but I decided not to attach it because yours is better. Keep shooting my friend, Garold
