I took this yesterday, as I was in a beautiful old building with this mirror just crying out to be photographed. As I was photographing dance, I 'borrowed' the only girl in a tutu & tried to capture the essence of an old Degas painting.
Thank you Annemette. Not everyone knows Degas so it doesn't mean a lot. I wasn't trying to copy him as such, just give a hint. Thank you for your comments. Cheers, Suzanne
Oh, Suzanne, another fabulous image! Yes, I think you have achieved a 'Degas' look about the image! I took art as an elective at high school - Degas, Monet and Renoir, were my favourites!
