About A man told us that the covered old well on our property could be used still for pumping up water for the garden and so forth. We pay a lot for water in Denmark, so this was like drilling for gold:-) I had to go down in the very deep well and take a photo while my mother came to look down for me. The well is 4-5 meters deep which is much more than expected, but the small farm does lie on the top of a hill, so the water of course goes deeper here.

Great perspective! Like it very much. I'm thinking MY mother might pull the ladder back up . . . so I'd have to send down one of the kids! . . . and then I'D pull the ladder up!!
LoL!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
