Your final look in this is similar to film taken of TV images. An interesting feel to it. I'm no PS expert, but it looks good.

Amazing effects with such a simplistic subject my dear Mary. The colour tones are beautiful and the details have great clarity. It reminds me also of a pineapple's skin.
