My point, exactly. Why do we always hear the overused phrase "incurable romantic"? Why does it have to be cured? You'll notice a few romantic themes in my portfolio, I hope.

Great compostion, Shirley, and nice detail in the flowers. I sense my eyes struggling to pick out some detail in the dark foreground leaves, and I'd suggest that going for more tonal range, especially in the midrange, would make it even better.

I love your overall portfolio -- the dramatic seascapes especially. Don't lose hope, romanticism IS curable, even in the late stages.
