Hi Jon, This is a really nice composition! beautiful colours and I love the way the boat is off to one side like that. It seems to give the image a nice fresh airy look to it. Just the right proportion of sky and water to be pleasing to the eye. Just one little complaint.... You better change the location from Saskatchewan to NFLD. Those Easterners will start complaining :) Andre

Thanks James - It was a good day for shooting - bright enough for a low shutter speed, but hazy enough so there weren't lots of deep shadows around.

Thanks, Avi - I was using a very short lense (28 mm equivalent) which I think helps accentuate the foreground and help make the shot a bit more dynamic.

GREAT angle !!!.. and the semi-dark clouds hovering just above the ship's front mast gives a feeling as if it has let off steam !!!
