Thanks for your comments. I was going to crop the tree, but it placed the wall under the dome a little too close to the edge for my liking. I might play with it again later...

I have enjoyed your architectural shots of Uzbekistan. This is my favourite so far. I imagine that most visitors snap away at the myriad colours but in this case the choice of black and white has brought out the richness and complexity. Your composition shows much thought too. One very minor point - I find the foliage at the bottom a little distracting. I don't think too much would be lost if it were cropped.
