Thank you for commenting Mary,it's one of my favourite shots from the 5 days I spent in Paris.I was particularly pleased by the warmth and clarity produced by the Pentax 50-200 lense I'd bought the day before,it's wonderfully light too- a perfect travelling lense!

Brilliant idea and absolutely gorgeous image. The most expressive- hands and eyes to me seen together in these textures stunning.

Thank you for commenting Philip.I spent a long time kneeling alongside this artist just waiting for his hand to be in exactly this position-it was fun!

Great idea - well carried out. It's the eyes that really make this shot. Well done indeed.

The face of a young woman springs from the expert hands of the artist, in those furrows there's a story to tell, a life to remember... and the hands are moving fast and doubtless on the paper. They are writing a story, maybe a sad story or a happy one... I like the sense of movement the hand gives to me, I like the contrast between the old skin and the tender face it's creating. Very good work!
