Dive low in flight
And in happiness I play
For you, offer delight
Beautiful song
Gracious and light
Though quickly I’m gone
Just a glance, a brief sight
A fleeting moment
spent too soon
now memories to keep
forever to weep
at the loss that is there
in the empty blue air
But again, with hope, I return
To flight in the air
Always close by
And always without care
Like a whispering wind
All around yet hard to be seen
A bird as silent and surreal
As ever I’ve seen
With beauty and grace
To light up my face
By name a swift
By nature… a gift
