Well composed, I like the contrast between the brown, green and white. I think you've reflected the Sequoia massive size very well.

I think you did an excellent job of portraying scale without placing a reference! Eb

Very Nice perspective Peta, loved it...you really do bring the "size" of the sequoia to certain extent. I had been to Muir woods (in california again, but north of SFO)and was amazed by these monster trees.
Now I plan to visit Kings Canyon park. I moved closer to California, currently in Phoenix, Arizona.
Well done (as always) :)
Cheers Dev

I like the photo and his perspective. The feeling of the huge dimentions could be perceptible only with a yarstick aside, I think. Cheers.

Like the Grand Canyon, a Sequoia is truly a religious place (whether you're religious or NOT).
It is almost impossible to capture the scope, the size, the sheer majesty of these incredible Ents.
Good job, Peta, just letting it soar out of frame.

Excellent Peta - great perspective, we often tries to photograph the tree on its own. You've emphasised the size of it by showing the smaller trees in comparison to the big one's base. Well done. Regards. Joggie
