About Auschwitz-Birkenau became the killing centre where the largest numbers of European Jews were killed. After an experimental gassing there in September 1941 of 850 malnourished and ill prisoners, mass murder became a daily routine. By mid 1942, mass gassing of Jews using Zyklon-B began at Auschwitz, where extermination was conducted on an industrial scale with some estimates running as high as three million persons eventually killed through gassing, starvation, disease, shooting, and burning ...

9 out of 10 were Jews. In addition, Gypsies, Soviet POWs, and prisoners of all nationalities died in the gas chambers. Between May 14 and July 8,1944, 437,402 Hungarian Jews were deported to Auschwitz in 148 trains. This was probably the largest single mass deportation during the Holocaust.

Auschwitz-Birkenau, Nazi Germany's largest concentration and extermination camp facility, was located nearby the provincial Polish town of Oshwiecim in Galacia, and was established by order of Reichsfuhrer SS Heinrich Himmler on 27 April 1940. Private diaries of Goebbels and Himmler unearthed from the secret Soviet archives show that Adolf Hitler personally ordered the mass extermination of the Jews during a meeting of Nazi German regional governors in the chancellery. As Goebbels wrote "With regards to the Jewish question, the Fuhrer decided to make a clean sweep ..."

No need to apologise Sin, I completely understand you wanting to respond to him. I would most likely have done the same thing myself ;)

Kambiz, I don't have any intentions disputiong with you any political issues, especially with you (it would be not smart from my side). Why? How my image about Auschwitz related to Palestinian problems? Se How it was easy to decode your true feelings? Also you don't have a clue what is Zionism means, and you repeating old anty-israel and any-semitic clishe... I am sure you "love" brothers-christian the same... Your statemnt was stupid from the beginning... I am not angry with you because you are not competent...

Kambiz: You are such a hypocrite. YOU are the one spreading poleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekuuuuuuuuuuuual messages (the word is spelled "political" btw) and as much as I know I will regret stepping in here, I'm going to anyway. What you're saying is all well and good, but it is YOUR message NOT Sin's. If you'd like to make a political stand against Zionism, do so with your own images IN YOUR OWN PORTFOLIO.

Dear Sin, what happened in Auschwitz was a crime the world must never forget. So please do not allow yourself to become involved in a dialog about world history, with the ignorant. Disrespectful comments are simply not worthy of reply.

Take care, Rina.

Dear Sin
I appreciate your feeling.

I DO have Polish friends and Poolish families who had the same worst experiences like yours.

But two BAD events do NOT make it Good (RIGHT)!

Look at our world, at present the Zionism State of Isreal took the land of Palestinine since 1940, then put that crazy enormous wall around herself similar to the Berlin Wall with highest security technolgy on each inch of it.
Does it make RIGHT.

Why they do NOT give a chance to these poor Palestinian to live in their OWN lands?
Why the poor nation of Jewish people would NOT learn from their own history and history of the world.
Why Jewish people would NOT like to live in peace and harmony and let other people live in peace and harmony.

I wonder why?????????????????????

My motto is:
"LIVE and LET other LIVE".

p.s.- By the way who is Mohammad Ali Ramin ?

To me it is very personal, since almost all my family died there.. for you? hmmm...
Well, Kambiz, it was not poleeeeetikul until you asked for.. :-) Maybe it is political for your president and for "Droctor" Mohammad Ali Ramin http://roozonline.com/english/015942.shtml. But I leave your government insenity for them... afterall every country deserves to have a government what they have... Cheers
