Yes, I thought either some soft stone, but they could have also been salt formations (hard to tell from a picture). Limestone is pretty soft, yes? Yeah, you wouldn't be able to climb on that--it would crumble? Thanks.

Thx Cathy for your nice comment, its a white huge stone in the white desert in Egypt its 580 Km from Cairo, there are many of this stones there with a very strange shapes.I all post some of these pic later.
