Thank you for your comments Doyle. The mountains behind the city are slanted naturaly but the city is almost level. You can see it with the Space Needle in the middle of town. Also I left the same height with the mountains on both ends of the image. It starts near the same height and then slopes down near the middle in the back of the city as well as the front.

A very nice image with lovely tones, warm colors and good silhouettes. While it is a beautiful shot, since you listed it in the CC I feel obligated to be brutally honest with you. The building lights, glows and tones are spot on but I feel that (in my opinion) there might be a slight tilt to the horizon line which might detract from an otherwise perfect picture. This is a great shot my friend. Very nicely done.

Thank you Mary. I did make a copy where I cropped a little off the bottom but it doesn't have the DOF feeling I wanted.

The colours of the sky and the lights of the city are grand and compliment each other so well. Having the tree framing the side is an effective composition element. I really like how you have framed the whole thing in black. I do think, however that a little less black at the bottom would emphasize the lovely scene a little better. It is a very pretty picture. Gorgeous capture. The tree at the right really spices the picture up. I love how the city looks like it's surrounded by darkness. Excellent picture!
