I really like the gentle tone of this. The tower is a grayish colour, but at the same time it is quite bright. Your perspective for the shot that draws the viewer's eye from the foreground, through the picture to the top of the tower and sky is effective. The dark framing highlights the lighted part wonderfully. Perhaps a little less on the right would work. The vertical presentation is the right choice for your great picture. MAry

Hi Tony,
Very strong image, and an excellent vista with the see through alley, and natural framing of the image by using the arch of the porch. Well exposed, too, not blackening out the shadow parts.
As to the composition, I think all points of interest / appeal are located on the left, making me believe cropping off a bit on the right side (without placing the tower dead center) would probably balance the photo a bit more. Just a thought. The exposure and view are pretty awesome. Very good photo.
Cheers,
Hugo

Beautiful perspective, really makes it interesting. Well seen! The sepia tone really brings out the texture and lines whihc I find important in this picture. Keep up the good work.
