About Just another muddy, meandering, mean, migrating Snapping-Turtle crossing the rural road to get from one muddy-ditch to another...These reptiles represent a species like no other in the world of uniquely Southern Sightings...Often seen crossing the road, Snapping-Turtles will travel for several miles in the spring season, searching for that 'just right' place, just as it's ancestors of Millenium's ago trekked...It's heritage is intrigueing; It's Future is uncertain...

Greg - Nice shot (we see these along the road every now and then). How close is Deep South to Wiggins (my old home town)?

Greg, this is a great shot of a snapper and right up there with Godzilla. The drool on his mouth adds so much realism.
