It is a beautiful wall. Your crop is great as it shows the elements that go together well. Sounds like a bit of a different crop would have included elements that would detract from the sense of age and beauty that you have here. Very pretty.

Nice melange of texture, color and tone. I like the wood accent and think you probably made the right crop call . . . hard to know without being there but your description sounds like it would have changed the mood evoked by this image.

Thanks Sal. It is not a door but a window wood shutter. Only half the shutter was closed over a modern looking window. I didn't think it went with the rustic look. Also, there was a white pipe at the top that would have been in the shot. Decisions, decisions...:) Andree

Andree, I like the colors textures and composition here but I'd have liked to have seen more of the door, it looks rustic and quaint. Nice work.
