You are not afraid to take creative leaps! The bit of rim lighting adds sparkle to the beautiful soft detail in the remainder of the composition. The photo is complex with the two level of contrat, but I like it!

1 - too stark seems to me the shining highlights of the subjects on focus in relation to the soft and dim second level blurred. Monika: "seems to me"!
