About One of those shots that seemed like a good idea at the time, but when you end up getting wet you suddenly realise it might have been better to stand further back. :)

Perfect- you got the life in the sea that I always like- and is not that easy to capture! Brilliant to have.

Thanks Doyle! "Shudder" speed - LOL! I hadn't thought of that. Though I ought to have, given the ambient temperature that day. The UK in early April isn't the warmest of places to be. :)

All the best, SQirl

Thanks Ray! Luckily it was only my feet that got wet - the camera and everything on me from the knees up stayed dry! I think I agree that the colour version is best - the black and white shot is a bit boring.

Take care, SQirl

Hi dear SQirl... I guess some shots are really worth getting wet.. and this one's one of those types of shots for sure.. A great composition here with a real nice shutter speed chosen.. Well done..Keep up the great ideas..

My best regards,
aLi

Good shot . . . I prefer the color version. Cold water would give a whole new meaning to "Shudder" speed! ;D

Excellent result despite the soaking my dear SQuirl. Your selected shutter speed was absolutely perfect. The wave smashing into the posts has a most realistic sense of power and movement. East west colour's best:):):) Stunning work.....all the very best....Ray

Hi Roby,

Thanks for your comment! :)

Black and white? Hmmm... I hadn't thought of that. I've just converted it - what do you think? I'm not sure.
