I do love the 'dead' gaze on her face! Even though it doesn't jump to life, it's got a great quality that almost looks like 1940's Royal paintings. Know what I mean?
the colors are fantastic! My only comment is on her lighting. The key is very dominating, and even though you're not drawing long shadows, she can stand to get a bit more fill, or bounce on her back right side. Almost as if you had a light outside the window that brings in a slight rake of color on her vivid blue top, and red hair. Just a very small amout is all it would take. It would also help pull her skin tone away from that curtain that slices through the frame.
Other than that, I love this. It's a great portrait. The dutch angle, and contraining crop add a bit of mystery to the image, as if the viewer is catching this view in passing. A look over, so to speak. One of my favorite images of the day, and favorite for my faves' list!
Well done! And great use of the bold reds that the Ekta EPN gave you!!
