Hi Sal, I'm wondering how you did this... The perfectly frozen people, and the erratic movement of the train.... My guess is that you either pulled off some photoshop magic, or a photo montage; I'd go for the former, as the motion of the train would require a stroboscopic effect wich is very difficult to pull off in a subway without the people noticing and looking at you...:)

Not that it really matters, as the effect is very dynamic and creative, no matter how you did it. Great shot!

Cheers,

Hugo

PS: After writhing this, I read your reply to lisa...:) Very well done!

Hi Lisa, thanks for your comment. You were one of only two in 5 hr.s or so. I had the camera set to take several images in a row and I built up 5 layers and erased all but the 1st layer where the people are and used 50% opacity on the other 4 layers where the train was and of course each image was at the exact same point of view only the train was coming closer in each successive image. Thanks again dear.

How did you do that. The people standing at the subway are in perfect sharp focus but the train - how did you do it.

You know my some of my favorite images of yours have been your subway B & W images and this now is one of them.

Excellent work Sal! I'm impressed. 7+!

Don't know why I bother rating images. Seems like the point value given is never added up and averaged out.
