it was just the right spot at the right time my editor did not run this photo of the fire they ran a nether one that was not as good of a photo at all but i guess it told more of the story of what was going on it is of the side of the bulding with the fire truck and firemen men moving about

Hi Nathan,
I'm not sure I agree that the background is too busy; the elements do add to the scene, telling more about the peripherals, I think. I do believe panning a bit to the left would create a slightly better composition, though. The stern looks of the fire man and woman is also quite fitting. Nice shot.

Hi Nathan,
I think the background is a bit busy. It would have been better if you could have chosen a shallower DoF to make the firefighters standout a lot more. IMO the strong lighting is good though.
