Hi Joggie - so, so special! Would you mind explaining what the "2.75X Panagor macro converter" is?

Glorious tiny beauty. Given upmarket department store window dressing pull factor. I love the sense of something natural given the glitz. Opulent red background helps. Wow Joggie!

Yesterday you asked me where I find beautiful flowers, today I ask you how can you discover all those invisible jewels of the nature. You have a microscope instead of eyes! About the photo I can't say anything to you as I could not find a word superior to perfect. Ciao.

this truly is a beauty, Joggie! What an excellent macro. Very crisp clean details in the water droplets and the leaf skeleton. Just love all those little "suns" refracted from the droplets. You certainly brought new life to this poor leaf. Cheers, Gary

What a lovely composition and well seen too (I never seem to see these kind of shots even I know they are there). The reddish background really works with this shot. Well done indeed.

Thanks Hugo - I have no problem at all with questions as such - too lazy/busy to give all the info when uploading!
My Dutch is poor - cannot speak it. Afrikaans though, are often referred to as kitchen-Dutch by the South African Dutch speaking population. It is very similar to Flemish and I can understand the written and spoken Dutch well - except where certain words may have developed totaly different meanings in Dutch and Afrikaans.
Ek ken dan ook daardie spreekwoord. Groete Joggie

Hi Joggie, thanks for the explanation. I like that approach... Somehow, knowing everything in a photo is genuine (no matter how well done, or how many times I can be mistaken, it's always very difficult if not impossible to tell as an observer) really adds to the appeal of the image! Will not question nor address the trickery part ever again, I promise...
BTW: How's your Dutch? We have a saying which is rather applicable: De beste stuurlui staan aan wal... I'll gladly translate, but maybe that's not necessary...:)
Cheers,
hugo

Thanks Hugo - I stay in George, Western Cape. Our car registration numbers begin with CAW ... which are jokingly referred to as "Cold and Wet". We get a lot of soft rain and often heavy mist in the evenings and early morning. All my drops are pure natural raindrops, dewdrops or mist collected on leaves. My recipe - lots of time on my knees on the lawn and between the flower beds - sometimes in the soft rain! Joggie

Hi Joggie,
Also quite a relief to see you haven't lost your touch (which I didn't doubt for a second)
Very intriguing photo, and the autumn tones go exceptionally well together, the deep red and yellow/beige hues are a perfect combination. This is pure gold...
Just curious, though: How do you find these gems? And those perfect drops? All dew? or do you use a plant spray or any other tool to create the crystal clear and perfectly spread drops?
Back on track!
Cheers,
Hugo
