yep i agree with the softness, was using a very old canon lense with a slightly loose focus ring. But i know it was also largely down to inexperience(took that 6 months ago when i really first started getting into photography). Thanks helpful advice for someone like me , who is just starting out.

The composition is very nice - I do however feel that it's a bit soft and her blown out white shirt is somewhat distracting.
